A cookie typically contains the name of the domain from which the cookie originates, the "lifetime" of the cookie, and a value, usually a randomly generated unique number. Cookies cannot execute programmes or transfer viruses to your computer. The purpose of their use is to make our website more user-friendly and effective overall. This website uses cookies to the following extent:
- Transient cookies (session cookies) are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include session cookies in particular. These store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the joint session. This allows your computer to be recognised when you return to the website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.
- Persistent cookies (permanent cookies) are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser's security settings.

- Web beacons are electronic signs (also called "clear GIFs" or "web bugs") that allow us to count the number of users who have visited the website.
You can configure your browser settings according to your wishes and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. Information on the management and deletion of cookies and corresponding instructions for the most common browsers can also be found at www.meine-cookies.org. However, we would like to point out that you may then not be able to use all the functions of this website.
(3) This stored information is stored separately from any other data provided to us. In particular, the cookie data will not be linked to your other data, if such data is transmitted.
2 Collection of personal data for personalised use
(1) In addition to the purely informational use of our website, we offer various services that you can use if you are interested. To do so, you must generally provide additional personal data that we use to provide the respective service. If additional voluntary information is possible, this is labelled accordingly. We only collect, process and use the personal data that is necessary for your use of the website and/or the fulfilment of a contract concluded with us or that you provide yourself. - Position
- Your address
- Telephone number
- Fax number
- E-mail address
- Date of birth
(2) Inventory data and usage data are used by us in order to establish a contractual relationship with you, if necessary, to design its content, to change or terminate it, to fulfil our contractual obligations, to log the user in to the website, and to contact you if you request it or if it is required or permitted by law as part of the contractual relationship.
With the exception of the data collected by the third-party providers mentioned below, the personal data is stored and processed within the European Union.
3. deletion periods
Unless otherwise described in this privacy policy, we will only store your data for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed, unless statutory retention periods require longer storage. Your personal data will therefore be deleted after your request has been processed, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
Inventory data will be deleted two years after termination of the contractual relationship at the end of the calendar year, unless longer storage is necessary and legally permissible.
4 Statistical anonymous analysis of usage data
We are authorised to create user profiles using pseudonyms for the purposes of advertising, market research or the needs-based design of the website, unless you object to this. In particular, we analyse the usage data anonymously for statistical purposes in order to customise the website. You can object to this use of your personal data by notifying us.
5 Use of Google Analytics
(1) This website uses the Google Analytics tool to analyse the surfing behaviour of users. The software places a cookie on the user's computer (for cookies, see above). If individual pages of our website are accessed, the following data is stored
- Two bytes of the IP address of the user's accessing system
- The website accessed
- The website from which the user arrived at the website accessed
- The subpages that are accessed from the accessed website
- The time spent on the website
- The frequency with which the website is accessed
The software runs exclusively on the servers of our website. The user's personal data is only stored there. The data is not passed on to third parties.
(2) You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
(3) The processing of users' personal data enables us to analyse the surfing behaviour of our users. By analysing the data obtained, we are able to compile information about the use of the individual components of our website. This helps us to constantly improve our website and its user-friendliness. These purposes also constitute our legitimate interest in processing the data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. By anonymising the IP address, the interest of users in the protection of their personal data is adequately taken into account.
(4) The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for our recording purposes. In our case, this is the case after 7 days.
6 E-mail newsletter
(1) If you consent to this separately, we may send you information about the use of the website and general customer information (e-mail newsletter) by e-mail. The advertised goods and services are named in the declaration of consent. Your consent is logged by storing the IP addresses used and the time of registration and confirmation, and you can retrieve the content of the consent and this notice at any time. You can revoke your consent to us at any time with effect for the future. In particular, you may object to processing for direct marketing purposes.
(2) To send the newsletter, we use products from HubSpot, 2nd Floor 30 North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, Ireland and therefore transmit your data required for sending the newsletter to this provider.
(3) We would like to point out that we evaluate your user behaviour when sending the newsletter. For this analysis, the emails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are one-pixel image files that are stored on our website. For the analyses, we link the data mentioned in section 1 and the web beacons with your email address and an individual ID. If you do not wish to be analysed by our newsletter, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a corresponding link for this purpose in every newsletter message. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website. The information will be stored for as long as you have subscribed to the newsletter.
7 Social media plugins and third-party services
Use of social media plug-ins
(1) We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Xing. We use the so-called 2-click solution. This means that when you visit our website, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of these plug-ins. You can recognise the provider of the plug-in by the marking on the greyed-out box using the initial letter. Personal data will only be transmitted if you click on one of the plug-ins: By activating the plug-in, data is automatically transmitted to the respective provider and stored there (for US providers in the USA). We have no influence on the data collected and data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes and the storage periods. As the provider collects data via cookies in particular, we recommend that you delete all cookies via your browser's security settings before clicking on the greyed-out box.
(2) If you activate a plug-in, the provider of the plug-in receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our online offering. In addition, the data mentioned under 1.(1) of this declaration is transmitted, whereby in the case of Facebook and Xing, according to the respective providers in Germany, only an anonymised IP is collected. This takes place regardless of whether you have an account with this provider and are logged in there. If you are logged in with the provider, this data is directly assigned to your account. If you click the activated button and, for example, link the page, the provider also saves this information in your user account and shares this publicly with your contacts. If you do not wish to be associated with your profile with the provider, you must log out before activating the button.
(3) The provider stores this data as a user profile and uses it for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or customising its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to display customised advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact the respective provider to exercise this right.

Insofar as we obtain your consent, the legal basis for the use of the plug-in is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR. You can find out how the respective social media providers process your personal data in their respective privacy policies. We are not the controller within the meaning of the GDPR for the data processing of the social media providers.
