With comspace, RYZE Digital is expanding its network with a strong tech hub in Bielefeld. The merger sets a new standard for tech-driven corporate communications - strategically, creatively and technologically interlinked.

(Mainz / Bielefeld - 05.01.2026) - RYZE Digital, the tech agency among communications agencies, is acquiring a majority stake in the Bielefeld-based digital agency comspace. With this merger, the RYZE Group has grown to over 300 experts and is thus taking a significant step towards a new generation of corporate communications - strategically, creatively and technologically deeply integrated.

 

Another tech hub for RYZE in Bielefeld

comspace has stood for technological excellence for over two decades - with expertise in Crownpeak/FirstSpirit, Storyblok, Sharedien, Scaleflex and Celum as well as sophisticated integrations in the enterprise environment.

 

With this investment, RYZE is expanding its presence with the Bielefeld location, which fits into the existing location structure with the headquarters in Mainz and the Erkrath and Darmstadt locations. Together, the locations form the technological and professional basis of the group. Services, teams and expertise are organised and accessible across all locations, while different focal points have emerged at the individual locations, which together shape RYZE's special service profile.

Continuity and future: founder stays on board

For comspace, the investment marks the beginning of a new chapter. Andreas Kämmer, founder and managing director, will retain a substantial stake and will continue to run the company together with the existing management team. This guarantees continuity and emphasises the shared understanding of a technologically-driven, future-oriented development. The comspace brand will also be retained, in future with the addition of "part of RYZE Digital".
