With the latest update of our RYZE CMS Ecoma, we are introducing new AI functions that will noticeably reduce the workload of editors and significantly simplify international and accessible website maintenance. The focus is on automated translations of content pages and intelligent support for the creation of accessible alt texts for images.
AI that thinks for itself - and simplifies editorial processes
Translate texts without copy-paste or media discontinuity: with the new function, content can be transferred directly into different languages with AI support when creating or editing. This is a real efficiency gain, especially for companies with international presences or many language versions. Translations are consistent, fast and of high quality - with editorial approval in the workflow if required.
Another new feature is an automated alt text function. It supports the editorial team in the accessible design of image content and suggests context-related alternative texts that can be flexibly adapted - an important step towards greater accessibility and inclusive web communication.
Accessibility begins in the system - and goes far beyond technology
The new alt text function is more than just a convenience tool: It actively contributes to making websites more accessible - in line with WCAG 2.1 as well as the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG), which will become binding for many companies from 2025. In a previous blog post, we looked at what is changing for business websites in terms of accessibility. With Ecoma, we are now creating the technical prerequisites for implementing these requirements in everyday editorial work in a practical way.

Technology as an enabler - Ecoma in use for complex platforms
Ecoma is a modular, highly customisable CMS for complex platform requirements - developed by RYZE and already in use by numerous customers in the field of international corporate websites. The system combines editorial usability with technological scalability and also forms the centrepiece of the RYZE Reporting Hub, our integrated solution for digital business and financial communication. The new AI functions are a further step towards future-proof content management as part of our digital experience strategy.
AI that can do more than just content
The new functions of our RYZE CMS are part of a larger development: artificial intelligence is not being used selectively at RYZE, but is being systematically developed as a strategic tool. Whether automated content, intelligent translations or adaptive designs - our AI solutions combine technology with concrete added value for digital platforms - modular, scalable and precisely tailored to individual requirements.
What remains: less effort, more impact
The latest Ecoma update makes it clear where the journey is heading: fewer manual processes, more editorial freedom and an infrastructure that supports international communication as well as barrier-free user experiences. Rethinking CMS means thinking AI. Our experts will advise you on the selection, introduction and further development of customised solutions - all in the interests of a future-proof digital experience.

RYZE Digital and Ibexa: from content to customer experience
Good content alone is not enough to convince users online. With the very first click, users expect exactly the content they are looking for and which inspires them. This is another reason why we have become a partner of the Norwegian company Ibexa. The powerful Digital Experience Platform (DXP) opens up completely new possibilities in the design of digital experience worlds, which we combine with our many years of experience in corporate communication. The success of this partnership was already evident at the Ibexa Summit in January, where we were honoured as "Rising Star of the Year" - and achieved Gold status as an Ibexa partner in record time.
