RYZE Digital and nexxar form Europe’s largest reporting provider

RYZE Digital is integrating the Vienna-based reporting agency nexxar into its agency network. nexxar will continue to operate as an independent agency and brand. This move creates Europe’s leading specialist in business and sustainability reporting – as part of an integrated platform for corporate communications and stakeholder engagement. Under the umbrella of the RYZE Group, reporting projects for over 100 leading companies from 10 European countries and the USA will be carried out in future.

The merger creates the clear market leader in reporting in Germany (DAX, MDAX, SDAX) and Austria (ATX). Furthermore, the specialists will in future serve leading listed companies from more than 10 countries, including 15 per cent of the 100 largest listed European groups (Euro STOXX 100). With this merger, the RYZE Group will grow to over 350 experts.

 

A powerhouse for companies’ key communication areas

Reporting is not viewed in isolation, but forms part of a significantly broader range of services. The RYZE Group works across the essential communication areas of modern companies: strategy and positioning, sustainability and ESG, financial market and investor communications, internal communications and employee experience, brand and reputation.

“Today, companies no longer need isolated specialists, but partners who take a consistent approach to their communications across all stakeholder groups – from annual reports and careers pages to ESG reporting,” says Philipp Mann, CEO of RYZE Digital.

Tech-driven reporting

“With its focus on corporate reporting, digital marketing and experience, corporate websites and digital communication, the RYZE Group has for years positioned itself as the tech agency amongst communications agencies,” Philipp Mann continues. This positioning is further strengthened by the collaboration with nexxar.

 

Since its foundation in 2003, the Vienna-based agency has consistently specialised in digital reporting. The team of around 60 people has also focused on working with reporting platforms such as Workiva and Lucanet. “We produce annual and sustainability reports as projects designed primarily for digital use, utilising digital processes and optimised for screens, smartphones and AI tools,” says nexxar CEO Eloy Barrantes. Together with Martin Sagmüller (COO) and Gernot Waidacher (CTO), he will take over the long-term management of nexxar GmbH, which is positioned within the RYZE Group as a tech-driven specialist in digital reporting. The nexxar team will continue to manage its clients and projects independently as an agency. Where clients wish, the RYZE Group’s expanded service portfolio will be available.

 

Focus on reporting impact

The shared digital DNA of both agencies is also evident in their focus on ‘reporting impact’: RYZE and nexxar are applying principles from performance marketing to corporate reporting. “We want to make the impact of reports visible,” explains nexxar CTO Gernot Waidacher: “With detailed data on how digital reports are used, what reach they have, and how often they are cited in responses from ChatGPT and similar platforms.”
