"Always looking to the future for 150 years" is the motto of Louis Opländer GmbH's anniversary celebrations for innovative building technology. And to ensure that this remains the case, the client's HR marketing activities were scrutinised in several workshops in order to develop a comprehensive employer branding strategy.
In order to stand out from the flood of job offers and vacancies and to attract qualified talent despite the shortage of skilled workers, work was carried out on the employer brand, including the unique employer proposition and employer branding strategy, and a channel setting with corresponding messages was developed on this basis.
A special focus is placed on young talent, and so the first step is to launch the career portal specifically for trainees, students and career starters with its own look and feel. The "professionals" will then follow in a second phase - stay tuned!
The employer brand and the unique employer proposition derived from it serve as a strategic bracket for communication along the HR marketing activities. These include a career portal as a central landing page for online ads and social media campaigns, video clips and various OOH components for trade fairs and events, such as flyers, roll-ups and goodies.
A series of films is therefore an essential part of the recruitment campaign. This is because they are the ideal way to convey corporate culture and insights into the workplace, as well as an impression of future colleagues - genuinely and emotionally.
A special focus is placed on young talent. For this reason, films were created that are aimed at potential applicants for the company's various apprenticeships.
Six current and former apprentices have their say in six films. They talk about themselves and their everyday lives, provide insights into the work and the culture and thus make the potential workplace attractive.
The new brand core "#Future Makers" of the employer branding strategy serves as a guideline for a young, activating design and visual language. Not only are colour accents used, but the messages convey to employees what Louis Opländer stands for as a company.
With the focus on "future makers", the "employer" Louis Opländer also becomes a "source of meaning".
